Authentic Islaamic 'Aqeedah & What Opposes It

Praise be to Allaah The One, Prayers and Peace be upon the Prophet peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him and after that his family and his Companions.

After that :

The authentic 'Aqeedah is the foundation of Islaam and the Islaamic nation is firm in its awareness, so that is why I feel it is correct that my lecture today be on this topic. It is known with evidences of the Sharia' from the Book & Sunnah that man's saying and actions are only authentic and acceptable to Allaah, when their 'Aqeedah is authentic, if however the 'Aqeedah is not authentic then their saying and actions are invalid, like The Exalted says :

And who-so-ever rejects faith, then fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be Among the losers.

The Exalted says :

And indeed it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) as it was to those before you (saying) : If you join others in worship with Allaah (then) surely (all) your deeds will be in vain and you will certainly be among the losers.

Their are many Ayaat with this meaning. The evidences in the clear Book of Allaah and in the Sunnah of His truthful Messenger upon whom be the best of the prayers and peace from his Lord, show the authentic 'Aqeedah which is briefly Imaan in Allaah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the last day and Destiny good and bad, so this is the six fundamentals of the authentic 'Aqeedah which were revealed in the Book of Allaah the Almighty, and what Allaah dispatched his Messenger with Muhammad on whom is the prayers and peace.

The versatility on these fundamentals is all what is obligatory with Imaan from the commands of the unseen. There is a lot of evidences combined with what Allaah informed His Messenger peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him of these six fundamentals in the Book and
the Sunnah, so like the saying of Allaah far is He from imperfection :

It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards the East or the West (in prayers) but righteous is he who believes in Allaah and the Last Day, and the Angels, the Book, the Prophets. [Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 177

He, far is He from imperfection says :

The Messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from His Lord, as do the faithful believers. Each one believes in Allaah, His Angels, His Books and His Messengers they say :

We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers.

He, far is He from imperfection says :

O you who believe! Believe in Allaah, and His Messenger (Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and the Book (the Qur'aan) which He has sent down to His Messenger, and the Scripture which He sent down to those before (him), and whosoever disbelieves in Allaah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Last Day, then indeed he has strayed far away. [Surah An-Nisa Verse 136]

He, far is He from imperfection says :

Know you not that Allaah knows all that is in heaven and on earth? Verily, it is (all) in the Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz). Verily! That is easy for Allaah [Surah Al-Hajj Verse 70]

There are so many authentic Ahadeeth evidences for this fundamentals. The famous authentic hadeeth which is narrated in Muslim in his authentic collection from the hadeeth of leader of the believers Umar bin al-Khattab may Allaah be pleased with him, on Jibraeel asking the Prophet peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him about Imaan, he said to him : Imaan is to believe in Allaah and His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers and the Last Day, and believe in Qadr good and bad. The hadeeth is taken from the two shaikhs from the hadeeth of Abu Hurairah may Allaah be pleased with him.

These are the six fundamentals : Deduce from this is all what is obligatory on the belief of the Muslim in the rights of Allaah, far is He from imperfection, and in the prepared commands and others like this from the affairs of the unseen.

First : Imaan In Allaah From having the Imaan in Allaah, far is He from imperfection means that except from Allaah none has the right of worship and this is because it is only Allaah who is the Creator of the slaves, He is the Benefactor, He gives the provision, He knows their secrets and their open things, he is the giver of a good reward to those who obey Him and punishes them for disobedience, and it is in this regard that Allaah created the slaves and He command them with this, like

He the Exalted says:

And I created not the Jinns and men except they should worship Me (Alone). I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. Verily Allaah is the Provider, Lord of Power, the Strong. [Surah Adh-Dhariyat Verses 51 to 52]

He, far is He from imperfection says :

O mankind! Worship your Lord, Who created you and those who were before you so that you may become pious. who has made the earth a resting place for you, and the sky as a canopy, and sent down rain from the sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you. Then set not up rivals unto Allaah while you know (well the fact).

For this teaching and preaching of this right, and to frighten the people of the opposite of this Allaah sent His Messenger and revealed His Books like He, far is He from imperfection says :

And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allaah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Tâghût (all false deities, etc. i.e. do not worship Tâghût besides Allaah)." Then of them were some whom Allaah guided and of them were some upon whom the straying was justified. So travel through the land and see what was the end of those who denied (the truth). [Surah An-Nahl Verse 36]

He the Exalted says :

And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) but We inspired him (saying): Lâ ilâha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allaah)], so worship Me (Alone and none else)." [Surah Al-Anbiya Verse 25]

The Glorified and Exalted says :

(This is) a Book, the Verses whereof are perfected (in every sphere of knowledge, etc.), and then explained in detail from One (Allaah), Who is All-Wise and Well-Acquainted (with all things). (Saying) worship none but Allaah. Verily, I (Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) am unto you from Him a warner and a bringer of glad tidings. [Surah Hud Verses 1 to 2]

The reality of this worship is by the many duties of servitude that people worship by e.g. Dua', fear, hope, Salaah, fasting, sacrifice, a vow offering. Other types of worship, with perfection, affection, beginning at and fear and hope with enthusiasm have been specifically been only for Allaah, and to be close to Allaah the Exalted, is control of humiliation. The greater part of the Qur'aan was revealed regarding the foundation of the 'Aqeedah, like the saying of He, far is He from imperfection :

So worship Allaah (Alone) by doing religious deeds sincerely for Allaah's sake only, (and not to show-off, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship). Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allaah only. [Surah Az-Zumar Verses 2 to 3]

His saying, far is He from imperfection :

And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. [Surah Al-Isra Verse 23]

His saying, Glorified and Exalted :

So worship Allaah, making Deen purely for Him, even though the unbelievers hate it.

In the two authentic collections on the authority of Mua'zh may Allaah be pleased with him that the Prophet peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him said : "Allaah's right over the people is that they only worship Him, and not to associate any partners with Him. Also, from having imaan in Allaah is those things that Allaah has made obligatory on His slaves and necessity for them from the well known five pillars of Islaam : testification that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), establishing the prayer, giving of Zakah, fasting of Ramadaan, those who have the ability to carry out the Hajj to the House of Allaah Haraam, and the other things from the obligations which come in the pure Shariah."

The highest principle out of the pillars is the testification that none is worthy of worship except Allaah and that verily Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him. The testification of La ilaha ill Allaah (none is worthy of worship except Allaah) is the agreement that worship is made strictly for Allaah Alone, and except for Him, nothing else should be worshipped, that is the meaning of La ilaha ill Allaah (none is worthy of worship except Allaah). This is because the meaning of La ilaha ill Allaah (none is worthy of worship except Allaah) is that except Allaah none has the right of being worshipped. For this reason, that worship which is done for other that Allaah, whether it is a man, or Angels, Jinn or anything else that worship is void, the right of worship is only for Allaah, like He says, far is He from imperfection :

"That is because Allaah He is the Truth (the only True God of all that exists, Who has no partners or rivals with Him), and what they (the polytheists) invoke besides Him, it is Bâtil (falsehood)." [Surah Al-Hajj Verse 62]

This point has been mention before, that Allaah the Exalted created Jinn and men for this great purpose, and for this reason He sent His messengers and revealed Books. Otherwise, if you do not understand this point thoroughly, then the condition you will be in is like the foundation that most Muslims have become limited to ignorance, to the extent that they have set up and associated others with Allaah the Exalted in His worship and they have associated others with the Rights that are particular to Allaah, we need Allaah's Help.

From Imaan in Allaah, far is He from imperfection, is the fact that Allaah the Exalted is the Creator of the universe and its Governor and in the foundation of His knowledge and Lordship, is that what ever He wills in all situations is what happens, and that He is the Lord of the world and the Hereafter and knows everything. There is no Creator or Lord except Him. For the peace of His people and for peace in this world and Hereafter and way He sent messengers and revealed books, and that all these points there is none associate with Allaah, like the Exalted says :

Allaah is the Creator of all things, and He is the Wakîl (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian, etc.) over all things. [Surah Az-Zumar Verse 62]

He, the Exalted says :

Indeed your Lord is Allaah, Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, and then He Istawâ (rose over) the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty). He brings the night as a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly, and (He created) the sun, the moon, the stars subjected to His Command. Surely, His is the Creation and Commandment. Blessed be Allaah, the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists)! [Surah Al-A'raf Verse 54]

Also from the Imaan in Allaah is the Imaan in His Beautiful Names and High Characteristics, and it is confirmed from the Messenger peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him that you have faith in this without tampering or neglecting without appointing circumstances or, resembling them to anything. It is obligatory to have faith/belief in these characteristics, just as they are without seeking and appointing how they are, yet these characteristics which show the proof of the greatness of Allaah, faith should be there because these are Allaah's Attributes. It is obligatory to understand those characteristics which are defined by Allaah since He is the King of Kings, and none of His characteristics resemble that of His creation/creatures, like the Exalted says :

There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer. [Surah Ash-Shura Verse 11]

The Glorified and Exalted says :

So put not forward similitudes for Allaah (as there is nothing similar to Him, nor He resembles anything). Truly! Allaah knows and you know not. [Surah An-Nahl Verse 74]

This is the 'Aqeedah of the Ahl-ul-Sunnah wal-Jamaah, from the Companions may Allaah be pleased with them of the Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him and those who followed them in goodness, the Imaam Abu'l Hasan al-Asharee may Allaah have mercy on him says in his book 'regarding the authority of the Companions may Allaah be pleased with them of Hadeeth and the People of the Sunnah' and besides them what the people of knowledge and Imaan have written. 'Awazaaee may Allaah have mercy on him said : Zahree and Makhool were asked regarding those Ayaat mentioned the characteristics of Allaah, and they said : Leave these Ayaat like when they were revealed. Al-Waleed bin Muslim may Allaah have mercy on him said : Maalik, 'Awazaaee, Laith bin Said, and Sufyaan at-Thauri may Allaah have mercy on them, were asked regarding the present text of the characteristics of Allaah, so they all said : Accept it has it is without seeking to know how. 'Awazaee may Allaah have mercy on him said : Says when the successors were amongst us in a large number, we used to say that Allaah is above His 'Arsh, we would have Imaan of the Characteristics mentioned in the Sunnah.

Shaikh Maalik asked shaikh Rabia ibn Abu AbdurRahmaan, regarding 'Istewaa', he answered that 'Istewaa' is not unknown and how is without intellect, and this is a message from Allaah, which the Messenger delivered perfectly, it is obligatory and we have to affirm that.

Imaam Maalik may Allaah have mercy on him, was asked regarding this and he said : 'Istewaa' is known and how is unknown and Imaan in it is obligatory and questioning it is Bida', then the question was asked again : in my opinion you are an evil loving person, and he was taken out of the gathering. There is a narration with this meaning on the authority of the mother of the believers Umm Salamah may Allaah be pleased with her. Imaam Abu AbdurRahmaan Abdullaah bin Mubarak may Allaah have mercy on him said : We know our Lord, far is He from imperfection, is indeed above the skies on His 'Arsh separate from His creation.

There has been a lot said about this chapter by the learned but it is not possible to cover all this now, Whoever wants to learn more about the many saying of the learned scholars about this, can turn to what has been collected in the books of the learned scholars of Sunnah, about this chapter in books like, 'As-Sunnah' by Abdullah bin Imaam Ahmad, the book 'At-Tawheed' by the noble Imaam Muhammad bin Khuzaimah and the book 'As-Sunnah' by Abu Qaasim al-Laalkhaee at-Tabaree, and the book 'As-Sunnah' by Abu Bakr bin Abu 'Aasim, and the answer of the Shaikh of Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah to the people of Hamah, and it is a answer of many and great benefits, clarifying, may Allaah have mercy on him the 'Aqeedah of the Ahl ul Sunnah, conveying in it many of the saying and proofs from the Shariah and from intellect on the correct saying of the Ahl ul Sunnah, and nullifying the saying of those specific to them. And like this, their booklet with somebody expounding in and between the 'Aqeedah of the Ahl ul Sunnah with the evidences, conveyed and intellectual refutation on those who differ with what is clear of the truth which triumphs over the evil which is in the sight of the people of knowledge with the righteous intention and following in knowing the truth.

All those who differ from the Ahl ul Sunnah in their 'Aqeedah of the chapters of Names and Attributes, indeed it will be necessary for them to differ even on the traditional evidence, and the intellectual mutual contradiction which is clear in all that which is established. What is established with the Ahl ul Sunnah wal Jammah about Allaah, far is He from imperfection about Himself in His Noble Book or what is established in the authentic Sunnah of His Messenger Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him without copying Him to something, or giving examples of Him. Without the splendor of His, far is He from imperfection in resemblance of his creation, from its negation. with peace of incompatibility and practicing with all the evidences, and this is the Sunnah of Allaah, far is He from imperfection, for those who hold with the truth to that which His Messengers brought, and sacrifice plenty in this way, with sincerity in Allaah in the claim of understanding the truth and the evidence is clear like the saying of the Exalted :

Nay, We fling (send down) the truth (this Qur'aan) against the falsehood (disbelief), so it destroys it, and behold, it (falsehood) is vanished. And woe to you for that (lie) which you ascribe (to Us) (against Allaah by uttering that Allaah has a wife and a son). [Surah Al-Anbiya Verse 18]

The Exalted says :

And no example or similitude do they bring (to oppose or to find fault in you or in this Qur'aan), but We reveal to you the truth (against that similitude or example), and the better explanation thereof. [Surah Al-Furqan Verse 33]

Hafidh Ibn Katheer may Allaah have mercy on him said in his famous Tafseer with the saying of Allaah, Glorified and Exalted :

Indeed your lord Allaah is He who created the sky and earth in six days then Istawa al-'Arsh.

The explanation of this point has written with it much good things, of great benefit so I will tell you some of it : About this point there are many saying of the learned scholars. It cannot all be elaborated here, but we will follow the path of the Salaf as-Salih, i.e. Maalik, 'Awazaee, At-Thauri, Laith bin Said, As-Shafee, Ahmad, Ishaaq bin Rawah and others from the Imaams of the Muslims of the past and present.

Their madhab was to accept those characteristics as they were without how they were or copying them or denying them. What the people who copy have their doubts based on what they think is beneficial and clear right on Allaah. Indeed Allaah is not like from His Creation, and there is nothing like Him, He is the All-Hearing All- Seeing, but in reality the order from some of the Imaams from whom is the Shaikh of Bukhari, Nu'aeem bin Hamd al- Khazee who said : Whoever gave Allaah a characteristics of His creation is a unbeliever - and whoever denies the characteristics of Allaah the Almighty has given Himself he is also an unbeliever. There is no copying in the characteristics which Allaah ahs given Himself or those that His Messenger has given Him. So whoever accepts what Allaah the almighty has mentioned about Himself in the Ayaat and the authentic narrations on His Face which is of His Nobility, Allaah, and benefit is from Allaah the Almighty and decrease is from Him is definitely on the right guidance.

Secondly : Imaan in Angels

Imaan in the Angels is of two sections, one is of a summary and the other is in detail, the summary type of belief is that Muslims believe that there are Angels of Allaah, whom have been created only for His obedience, and listening to Him. Allaah the Almighty has described them that they are slaves and they never go against any command of Allaah Almighty, but they always stay obeying Allaah. He knows what is before them, and what is behind them, and they cannot intercede except for him with whom He is pleased. And they stand in awe for fear of Him. [Surah Al-Anbiya Verse 28]

They have different grades some of them carry the 'Arsh, some are treasurers to the Paradise and the fire, and some of them are busy in writing peoples actions. About those Angels we have detailed belief about, those that Allaah and His Messenger have mentioned by name, from them are Jibraeel, Mikheel and Maalik the treasurer of the Hell-fire, Israfeel who blows into the soul, these have been mentioned in authentic hadeeth, and what has been mentioned an authentic collection on the authority of 'Aaisha may Allaah be pleased with her that the Prophet peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him said : "The Angels are created from light, and the Jinn are created from the of fire, and Adam was created from (clay) for him." taken from Muslim in his authentic collection.

Thirdly : Imaan in the Books It is obligatory to have detailed Imaan that indeed Allaah, far is He from imperfection, revealed Books to His Prophets and Messengers so they could convey the truth about Him, like the Almighty says :

"Indeed We have sent Our Messengers with clear proofs, and revealed with them the Scripture and the Balance (justice) that mankind may keep up justice." [Surah Al-Hadid Verse 25]

The Almighty says : "Mankind were one community and Allaah sent Prophets with glad tidings and warnings, and with them He sent the Scripture in truth to judge between people in matters wherein they differed." [Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 213]

We believe in detail about those Books which Allaah the Almighty has mentioned by Name, i.e. Taurat, Injeel and Zaboor and the Qur'aan. The Noble Qur'aan is the best and final Book of them, it is the of them and believable, to follow it is obligatory on all of the nation along with the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him because Allaah, far is He from imperfection, dispatched His Messenger Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him Messenger to all the Jinn and mankind, and it was revealed, this Qur'aan so it would give verdicts between the people and the judgment and put intercession for their hearts and make everything clear for them and guidance and mercy for the believers, like the Almighty says :

"And We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur'aan) as an exposition of everything, a guidance, a mercy, and glad tidings for those who have submitted themselves (to Allaah as Muslims)." [Surah An-Nahl Verse 89]

The Almighty says :
Say (O Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): "O mankind! Verily, I am sent to you all as the Messenger of Allaah - to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He); It is He Who gives life and causes death. So believe in Allaah and His Messenger (Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the Prophet who can neither read nor write (i.e. Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) who believes in Allaah and His Words [(this Qur'aan), the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and also Allaah's Word: "Be!" - and he was, i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary),], and follow him so that you may be guided." [Surah Al-A'raf Verse 158]

There are many Ayaat with this meaning.

Fourth : Imaan in the Messenger

It is obligatory to have Imaan in the Messenger, basic and detailed, to believe that indeed Allaah, far is He from imperfection, sent Messengers to his slaves, to warn, to give the glad tidings and to give dawa' to the truth, so whoever responds to them will with happiness, and whoever opposes, and disobeys is of failure and regret, and from the final and the best he is our Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him , like Allaah, far is He from imperfection says :

And verily We have sent amongst every nation and Messenger (saying) : Worship Allaah (Alone), and avoid all false deities. [Surah An-Nahl Verse 36]

The Almighty says :

Messengers as bearers of good news as well as of warning in order that mankind should have no plea against Allaah after the Messengers. [Surah An-Nisa Verse 165]

Those Prophets and Messengers whom Allaah has mentioned by name or the Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him has mentioned them, we should have belief in them with detail and specification, like Nuh, Hud, Salih and Ibraheem and others besides them and on all our Prophets the most prayers and pure peace.

Fifth : Imaan in the Final Day

Imaan in the Final Day and entering into it and belief in all that has been reported by Allaah with His Messenger peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him , what will happen after death, how will the grave be its punishment and bliss, and what will the Day of Standing be, from the trial and hardship, the Siraat (bridge), the Scale, the Account, Separation, the unrolling of the paper between the people, holding his Book in his left hand, or who will be given it behind his back, and what enters this is also belief in the Hawd (fountain) the watering place of our Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him , belief in the Paradise and the Fire, the believers seeing their Lord, far is He from imperfection, and speaking with Him, and others like this what comes in the Noble Qur'aan and authentic Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him , so it is obligatory to have belief in all this and testify on the face of it, which is between Allaah and His Messenger peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him

Sixth : Imaan in Qadr

Imaan in Qadr consists of four commands of belief. The first command : Indeed Allaah, far is He from imperfection, has knowledge of what will happen, and what has happened, and He has full knowledge of his sustenance and his instance of death, and his actions and others like this from there is no thing from this that He, far is He from imperfection, and the Exalted does not know, like He, far is He from imperfection, says :

Indeed Allaah has knowledge of all things. [Surah At-Tawbah Verse 115]

The Glorified and the Exalted says :

That you may know that Allaah has power over all things and that Allaah surrounds (comprehends) all things in (His) knowledge. [Surah At-Talaq Verse 12]

The Second Command : Everything which is Qadr or Qada' has been written in His, far is He from imperfection, Book like He, far is he from imperfection says :

We know that which the earth takes of them (their dead bodies), and with Us is a record that contains (everything).

The Exalted says :

And all things We have counted up (as a record) in a clear Book. [Surah Ya-Sin Verse 12]

The Exalted says :

know you not that Allaah knows all that is in the heaven and on the earth? Verily it is (all) in a record. Verily! that is easy for Allaah. [Surah Al-Hajj Verse 70]

Third Command : Imaan in everything, whatever happens is by Allaah's Will, what does not happen is what Allaah Wills, like He, far is He from imperfection says :

Verily ! Allaah does what He wills. [Surah Al-Hajj Verse 18]

The Glorified and Exalted says :

Verily His command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, 'Be' and it is ! [Surah Ya-Sin Verse 82]

He, far is He from imperfection says :

And you will not, unless (it be) that Allaah wills, the Lord of the worlds. [Surah At-Takwir Verse 29]

The Fourth Command : He, far is He from imperfection created all that exists, there is no other creator and nor any other Lord, like He, far is He from imperfection says :

Allaah is the creator of all things and He is the Guardian over all things. [Surah Az-Zumar Verse 62]

The Exalted says :

O mankind ! Remember the grace of Allaah to you! Is there any creator other than Allaah Who produces for you from the sky and the earth ? None has the right to be worshipped but He, how then are you turning away (from Him)? [Surah Fatir Verse 3]

So Imaan in Qadr is what is Imaan in these four commands with the Ahl ul Sunnah wal Jammah, opposing these and denying them, this is from the people of Bida'h. What is included in Imaan in Allaah is united with the Imaan of saying and action, increase in obedience and decrease with disobedience and indeed it is not allowed to do takfeer from any one of the Muslims for anything from disobedience which is beneath the Shirk, and disbelief, adultery, theft, and consuming Riba', drinking intoxicants, rights of parents, and other things like this from the major sins this, the saying of Allaah, far is He from imperfection :

Indeed Allaah will not forgive shirk, but will forgive anything less than this.

What is established in ahadeeth Mutawatir on the Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him : Indeed Allaah will take out from the fire anyone who has equivalent to a grain of faith.

From Imaan is loving for the sake of Allaah and hating for the sake of Allaah and friendship for Allaah and enmity for the sake of Allaah, it is obligatory for the believer, the believers and the 'Awaaliyah, and hating the unbelievers and the jews.

On the leader of the believers from the leaders of the companions of the Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him. The Ahl ul Sunnah wal Jammah have love for them, and want to be like them and they are united that they are the best people after the Prophets with the saying of the Prophet peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him : The best generation is mine, then the next and then the next. Agreed upon in the six collections.

It is agreed upon that the best of them is Abu Bakr as- Siddeeq then Umar al-Farooq then Uthmaan possessor of the two lights then 'Ali may Allaah be pleased with them, and after them remain the ten promised with Paradise then remain the Companions and those differences between the companions the Ahl ul Sunnah remain quiet, they understand that they used Ijtihad, so whoever ijtihad was correct they will receive two rewards, and whosoever was incorrect will receive one reward, they love the Ahl ul Bait of the Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him the believers turn to them with respect, the wives of the Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him they are our mothers, and we pray for all of them.

They are aware of the path of the Rawafidha, which is hating the companions may Allaah be pleased with them of the Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him and they the Rawafidha swear at them, and they over extol the Ahl ul Bait and raise them from the position that Allaah the Glorified and Exalted has given them. The Ahl ul Sunnah are aware of the path of the who gave suffering to the Ahl ul Bait by their words or actions. Whatever has been conveyed in this shortened lecture is the authenticate 'Aqeedah which Allaah dispatched His Messenger Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him it is the 'Aqeedah of the Firqat un Najeeyah Ahl ul Sunnah wal Jammah about whom the Prophet peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him said : There will not cease to be a group of my ummah upper most on the truth, those who oppose them will not harm them until Allaah's affair comes and they are like that.

He peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him said : The jews broke into 71 sects, the christians broke into 72 sects, this ummah will break up into 73 sects all of them in the fire except one, so the companions may Allaah be pleased with them asked who are they O Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him ? he peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him said : They who are on what I and my companions are on. This is that 'Aqeedah with which it is obligatory to hold on to, and to fearful of opposing it. There are those who have inclined to this 'Aqeedah and the remaining of the opposite of them are many : from among the Slaves there are the Idols and Idolaters and Angels and 'Awaaliyah, Jinn, trees, stones, and other things, they worship, they did not accept the Dawa' of the Messengers but they opposed him and his call, like the Quraish and the pagan arabs did with our Prophet Muhammad . They used to pray to their void idols for the sick people and victory over their enemies, they used to slaughter and sacrifice for them, but when the Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him gave the command to make worship strictly to Allaah the One, they rejected this.

But He peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him used to invite them to Allaah and scare them of Shirk and expounding the reality of his Dawa', so that whoever Allaah Willed was guided, then they entered into the Deen of Allaah in multitudes, it is clear that the Deen of Allaah was over all religions after persistent Dawa' and a long Jihaad from the Messenger of Allaah peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him and his Companions may Allaah be pleased with them, and those who followed them in goodness. Then a change of situation and ignorance prevailed on much of the creation until there were more numbers to the way of ignorance, turning to the Prophets and Awaliyah and praying to them, and seeking refuge in them and other things of shirk, they do not know the meaning of 'None is worthy of worship except Allaah' like the unbelieving arabs knew this meaning, We need Allaah' s Help!!

This Shirk kept spreading in the people to our time, this is the reason for the victory of ignorance and this is far from the guidance of Prophet hood. The doubt of those people before is the same doubt now, from their saying is : We worship them only that they may bring us closer to Allaah. [Surah Az-Zumar Verse 3]

Allaah refutes this doubt, whoever worships other than Allaah has committed Shirk and is a unbeliever, like the Exalted says :

And they worship besides Allaah things that hurt them not, nor profit them an they say : these are our intercessors with Allaah. [Surah Yunus Verse 18]

Allaah refutes them, with His saying, far is He from imperfection :

Say : Do you indeed inform Allaah with that which He knows not, in the heavens or on earth? Glory be to Him! And far is He above (the partners) they associate (with Him). [Surah Yunus Verse 18]

In this Ayaat He, far is He from imperfection states that worship of other than Him, i.e. of Prophets or 'Awaliyah or others is great Shirk, and even if it is called by other than this :

And those who take protecting friends beside Him (say) : We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allaah. [Surah Az-Zumar Verse 3]

Allaah refutes them with His saying, far is He from imperfection :

Verily ! Allaah will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly Allaah guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever. [Surah Az-Zumar Verse 3]

This is what He, far is He from imperfection has stated of worship of other than Him with prayers and fear, of hope and reliance this is disbelief with Him, far is He from imperfection, and they lie in their saying that these bring us closer to the Lord.

Of the belief of the unbelievers opposite/contrast the authentic/correct 'Aqeedah, what opposes it is what the Messengers on them be prayers and peace came with :

What is the belief of the renegade in this time is of the following of Marx and Lenin and others from the determining factor of the vehement unbelievers and like this equivalent in aspiration are the or the Shia' or Bathis or others like them, from the names, indeed from the fundamental people who are renegade of the fact that there is none to be worshipped and that life is the determining factor, and from their foundation is denying a number of things, denying the Paradise and Fire, and they all disbelieve in God. From looking into their books and their lectures one can find the reality of this thought. There is no doubt that this belief of the main religions the heavenly and in condition equivalent to the hollowness in the world and the Hereafter.

From the beliefs that oppose that of the truth are the beliefs of some of the batineeyah and some of the Soofeeyah from among whom listen from the Awleeyah, committing Shirk with Allaah in and they put Allaah's Hand in the organizing of this world, then they turn to the worship of their 'Qutb', 'poles' and 'Ghauths' and others they call on with different names this from ugliest Shirk in ar-Rububeeyah an this is more than the Shirk of the ignorant arabs, this is because they used to commit Shirk in the worship and not in ar-Rububeeyah, they used to commit Shirk in situations of fear, and if the situation was extreme then they would make worship purely for Allaah, like Allaah far is He from imperfection says :

And when they embark on the ships, they invoke Allaah, making their faith pure for Him only, but when He brings them safely to land, behold, they give a share of their worship to others. [Surah Al-'Ankabut Verse 65]

As regards ar-Roobubeeyah they used to regard this for Allaah Alone, like He, far is He from imperfection says : And when you ask them who created them, the will surely say, Allaah [Surah Az-Zukhruf Verse 87]

The Exalted says :

Say : Who provides for you for the sky and from the earth? Or who owns hearing and sight? And who brings out the living from the dead and brings out the dead from the living? And who rules and regulates all affairs ? They will say : Allaah. Say : Will you not then be afraid (from setting up rivals in worship with Allaah)? [Surah Yunus Verse 31]

There are many Ayaat with this meaning. The Mushrikeen of today have increased on the Mushrikeen of the past in two ways :

First : some of them have committed Shirk in ar- Roobubeeyah.

Second : They commit Shirk in situations of fear, and it is known that when you live amongst the people and what they do, for example at the of Haseen and Badawee and others in Egypt and with the grave of Aeedroos in Eden, and Hadi in Yemen, Ibn Arabi in Syria, the shaikh AbdulQadir aj-Jilaani in Iraq, and other famous graves which have many wrong practices which undermine many of the Rights of Allaah the Glorified and Exalted, there are very few people who stop them from doing these practices, and they present them the reality of Tawheed which is what Allaah sent His Prophet peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him with, and Who sent it with the Messengers may prayers and peace be upon them, and verily ! To Allaah we belong and to Him is our return!!!

We ask Him, far is He from imperfection gives them to the right course and makes clear for them the call to guidance, indeed to make right the leaders of the Muslims, an the learned scholars in combating this shirk and finishing it, indeed He is the All-Hearing an Close. We are against the contradictory beliefs of the Jahmeeyah and the Mutazilah an others from amongst the people of Bida'h in the belief of the names and characteristics and we keep to the authentic belief, those who deny the characteristics of Allaah and consider of Him, far is He from imperfection and have frozen and made non-existence and not possible things which He has characterized Himself with, and Allaah the Exalted is above all that they say. Like this other people enter into this like the Ashareeyah, who deny some of the characteristics, and to deny this they have benefited from some of the characteristics and have done Taweel and given proof, but even then the same applies to them. In his way they have opposed the copying and the intellectual evidences and have clearly become prey to loss.

The Ahl ul Sunnah wal Jammah have accepted fully what Allaah, far is He from imperfection has established for Himself or what His Messenger Muhammad peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him established for Himself from the Names and characteristics on full completion, and they do not compare Him to His creation, pure and innocent of the comparing of the Tateel, so doing all with evidences and not raising and not lowering, and secure from the incompatibility which was the fall in others, like what was established before, and this is the way of safety, happiness in the world and the Hereafter and it is the straight path which the Salaf followed of the nation present and past, and the good of today cannot except what was the good of the past, and that is following the Book and the Sunnah, and leaving what opposes them.
